This section introduces aquatic insects of the Nakdong River, displaying their collection methods, habitats, feeding, and reproduction. It also showcases specimens and information on 30 species of amphibians and reptiles inhabiting the river, along with mammal specimens supported by interactive touchscreen explanations. This exhibition presents fish and bird specimens that inhabit the Nakdong River, along with displays of representative wetland ecosystems and wildlife of the river. The distribution of fish along different sections of the river is illustrated with specimens, and bird specimens show seasonal visitors to the Nakdong River. Visitors can also meet Jaeru, the Center’s mascot, modeled after the white-naped crane (Grus vipio Pallas, 1811). Touchscreens provide information on seasonal species in the Nakdong River wetlands.
