This exhibition showcases the diversity of life, from prokaryotes to animals, along with animal specimens from different continents. Interactive touchscreens provide detailed explanations of animals from each continent. The jewel beetle specimen introduces the concept of genetic diversity. Visitors can also explore the distribution of ecosystems across continents, encounter representative species, and view specimens of extinct bird species.

This section highlights the ecosystems and wildlife of the Korean Peninsula. Specimens are displayed to represent mountain, river, plain, marine, and coastal ecosystems. The exhibition also addresses the reduction of habitats for native Korean plants and the resulting biodiversity crisis, while introducing Korea’s efforts to preserve and protect biodiversity.

This exhibition introduces biological resources used by our ancestors, modern products developed through biological resources, and technologies inspired by biomimicry. It provides insights into how biological resources have supported human civilization throughout history. In addition, visitors can learn about the current ongoing efforts of both Korea and the international community to conserve biodiversity.
