[Jaeroo and Dami ] are characters configured as a pair by utilizing [white-naped crane] and [yellowfin crucian carp], both of which are endemic animals to Nakdong River.
[Jaeroo] was expressed as having the characteristics oof white-naped crane, such as red eyes and brim, white face and neck, grey body, while [Dami] was expressed as having the characteristics of yellowfin crucian carp such as light brown fin, silbery blue body, and blackish blue band. [Jaeroo and Dami]characterized by utilizing the outward characteristics of each species became the symbol of Nakdonggang National Institute of Biological Resources.
